How does it work?
Nov/Dec: We harvest a variety of produce from our fields and greenhouse which we make available for you to pick up bi-weekly (every other week) at our farm stand . Our market-style CSA will allow you more flexibility for the items you’d like to take home, featuring our fresh-harvested greens and our organic root & storage crops.
Jan-Apr: In addition to our produce, we partner with local farms and hydroponic greenhouses to curate our Winter CSA box for you to pick up. Your CSA will feature classic winter crops, as well as some hydroponic favorites. Your box will be available to pick up on the second Tuesday of each month from January-April.
What kind of veggies can I expect? Though we can’t predict every week, we’ll have a variety of produce including Kale, Lettuce, Potatoes, Beets, Asian greens, Carrots, Parsnips, Collard greens, Turnips, Radishes, Rutabaga, Apples, and more. For our January-April shares, you can expect to see Greenhouse baby greens, Sweet Potatoes, Apples, Asian Pears, Greenhouse Tomatoes, Braising Greens, Winter Squash, Mushrooms and more. Our program supports both Flipside Farm and local farms in our area all year long!
What if I can’t make a specific pickup date? Email your farmer in advance to make an alternate arrangement or to donate to a local non-profit organization.
