We are located at:
"HALF" and "FUlL" SHARES AVAILABLE!
Each week you'll take home a good volume of produce according to your share size! Half shares will receive apprx 1 peck (or about 6 items), and Full shares receive apprx 1/2 bushel of produce each week (or about 10 items). We harvest a large variety of veggies ripe in the field, and we let YOU choose what you'd like to take home, using our flexible "mix-and-match" system.
our "U-pick" fields
In addition to your weekly share, you'll have the option to pick some of your own vegetables & fruits right from the field. We will let you know each week what's available (peas, beans, cherry tomatoes, herbs. etc....) and you have the freedom to pick. Not to mention, we have FLOWERS available to cut for 16+ weeks throughout the season.
What kinds of vegetables can I expect?
The produce varies by season! We'll have new crop varieties nearly every week to keep your dinner plates new and fresh. Below are some examples of the vegetables you'll see for your CSA distribution.
Spring: lettuce, spinach, bok choy, radishes, carrots, beets, zucchini, scallions, snow peas, dill, cucumbers, turnips
Summer: heirloom & slicing tomatoes, spaghetti squash, green bell peppers, tomatillos, hot peppers, onion, okra, eggplant, summercrisp lettuce, basil
Fall: potatoes, broccoli, kale, Swiss chard, potatoes, broccoli, rutabaga, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, cauliflower
Winter: kale, spinach, swiss chard, lettuce, potatoes, beets, carrots, turnips, winter squash, arugula, baby greens, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, apples, asian pears
We will occasionally feature crops grown on partnering local farmers to showcase sustainable veggies grown in our region, such as: asparagus, berries, melons, onions, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, parsnips, potatoes, sweet potatoes, mushrooms and more. We’ll have a changing variety of weekly retail options from local producers that will be available for purchase each week.
How many people does 1 CSA share feed?
One Half share feeds 1-2 people, and a Full share feeds up to a family of 4…though that truly depends on your veggie consumption, and food storage habits.
Prorated Half Shares: 10 Weeks $250
Prorated Full Shares: 10 Weeks $350
Fall/Winter Shares: 8 Weeks $296
This includes your weekly U-pick too! That's savings and freshness you can't beat at the supermarket.
